  12. it has a 545mm top tube - I see the medium has a 575mm top tube They only appear to do a small and medium size in this model.
  13. Yes, it is a small BTW - for anyone who doesn't know it is a 650B wheel size

  15. Hey - I know this should be in the classified but want to find out what this is worth 2014 Silverback Splash 1 with speedo and Specialized bottle cage. I bought it for my fiance who just had to have it!! It has done 46km, around 6km was at the Spruit and the rest on the road. Although it has done 46km it was pushed up all hills so I am not sure if that actually counts as wear and tear. They retail around R7600.00 but after discount can be bought for around R7k I can throw the fiance in to spoil sweeten the deal Size is small (the bike, not the fiance) Sorry but the Fireblade you see in the photo is not up for grabs, that is my new fiance and doesn't even complain when I ride other bikes or read bike magazines So what do you guys think I can get for the bike?
  16. I had a Peugeot Mirage racing bike in school, as far as I remember back then it was a reasonably decent brand, cost R120.00 and that was in the late 70's. I was the only guy at school with quick release wheels and had to check they hadn't been loosened every day after school. I think it was a 5 speed casette back then. Bear in mind my old man got his first company car in 1976 and that cost R2800.00 brand new!!
  17. I prefer doing that on my Scott 29'er - Big ring at the front and small gear at the back all the way
  18. What colour socks are best? Is that one sock or a pair the OP should be looking at?
  19. Black Diamond Ski gloves from Anatomic shop
  20. Gloves is a problem, high speed through a dip and I couldn't change gears afte rthat - Bought some skiing gloves
  21. Thanks, enjoy your bike. This is the one she got - http://www.silverbacklab.com/upload/2011_website_SILVERBACK/splash1_14.htm
  22. I prefer my 17'er - Much easier up hills than my 29'er
  23. Europa next to CS Did you guys see the Pinas on display at Cycle Lab as you walk in?
