  1. Will be holding thumbs that he is found does not look good though
  2. Disappointing ,but nessasary. I remember 2009 wind pumping MTN tent, start finish banners etc all blew away and the race still went ahead. I finished in one piece ,but going down chappies was no joke... Light bike=kite :-) PS:I would have preferred the race cancelled that year
  3. Yes I agree I do not think that would be possible. I recently went from road to mtb and the cup and cone XT hubs that came with my wheel set are easy to maintain and all it takes is to clean and grease them up when I do my monthly maintenance and they are good to go. Get a cone wrench and torque wrench and some good wheel bearing grease and you'll be good for many years to come.

  7. I am a bit of a noob when it comes to the MTB side of things ,but I was wondering if it would be possible to use a Shimano 105 11-32 road cassette on my XT M8000 hubs. Complete 11 M8000 group set incl derailleur and shifters on my 29'er MTB. My reasoning behind this is that I can train with the rather inexpensive 105 road cassette and then switch to a 11-42 XT cassette when doing more of the steeper hilly stuff. Is this a possibility?
  8. Lol remember I'm new to this MTB thing I'm used to wrapping handle bar tape :-) Sent from my LG G3 using Tapatalk
  9. I think I'm in Luv I should have ordered some more... Did a 2 hour ride and they are nice and comfy. I just put them in hot water and used gloves and lotsa elbow grease and the suckers slipped right on. http://i64.tinypic.com/25jca3q.jpg
  10. 5 minutes in water worked for me together with using some gloves and lotsa elbow grease.
  11. That makes up my mind then I'm new to MTB coming from road bike I bought a Merida with XT 2x11. I was considering going 1x11 ,but think I will keep the extra chain ring and shifter until I ride plenty of climbs and make up my mind.
  12. Sjo it's sooo cold in PE it's been tough going
  13. RIP so saddened by this horrible news
  14. I just placed my order with www.easygis.co.za and all I can say is if judging by the way they handled me as a customer I expect service of the highest level. Not 100% sure about waranty policy ,but service is very prompt and up to date.
