Further, if it doesn't leak oil, then every 60 hours of riding if you ride at the back in the dust or every 20 hours if you're a pack leader and never eat dust. Cost of a service that includes seals is about R600, give or take an O-ring or two.

Do you know what the cost of the service kit will cost me ?What do you define as leaking oil , the tube being damp becuse just above the seal i have found that the dust after ride is a bit bamp

If you're scared, attend one of the fork service workshops advertised here. I define a leak as dripping oil. A sweaty stanchion means the seals still work as they are intended to - to release a thin (one molecule)layer of oil with each stroke so that the seal itself remains lubricated and doesn't rub itself into oblivion. A service will cost you abouy R650-00, but I stand corrected.
