I would like to change my RC6000 to a compact crank... currently it has a 105 crank with octalink.

I have a ceramic hollowtech BB with external bearings lying in the garage (long story) and was wondering whether

I would be able to use this to upgrade the road bike with a hollowtech 105 crank?

Possible? Easy?

The frame's BB section's are the same width, so stick your new hollowtech BB in, with your new crank and enjoy.

I've had to do the same before.
