Hey, you are right Nige.... Because the riders are not cutting the tape in any way....I didnt think about that.

That was the weekend I 'started' Downhill..... Ah, the good ol days.

 

The chap who put the sticks in was the course 'designer' his name was Richard something or other - I remember thinking that it was super dangerous and could have caused a major injury if a rider had been impaled!!!!

He had a heated argument with a rider and almost came to blows...

 

That line was fast though, I remember the first time I did that line I though I was the boss!! - back when I was still riding my Schwinn 4-Banger!

Cant wait to reopen that course - fast and loose!!!
