wheelz Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I have noticed I have a hairline fracture on my carbon wheels, near the nipple. Is it safe to ride on or will they buckle under me? I really love riding on the wheels but I dont want them to give up while im riding. Is the anything I could do to avoid it getting worse?
CAAD4 Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Have them checked out. There is no subtle warning before a carbon failure. They could probably be repaired, but get a professional opinion.
