Howzit, I am a brand new rookie buying my first bike. I have done a some homework and have a budget of nothing more than R6000-00. Can anyone please have a look at the specs below and give opinion?

dont trust 2nd hand. Like the waranty and service plan. Will worry about shoes and packs later....just starting out. Bike size for me large.

hmm nothing wrong with 2nd hand a lot of guys on the Hub ride 2nd, 3rd 4th hand bikes.

I agree with Slowbee u can get a better spec bike for that amount.

Have you got a helmet?

Sounds a bit much for what you are getting here.....

If R6000 is you total budget then I would suggest that you buy the helmet first then next month the bike, tehn hydration etc can come later.

 

The Helmet is the MOST important thing....then get the bike, save on the "tubeless" converstion and do that yourself....plenty info on the hub (howto's)
