Big H* Posted July 15, 2011 Share Awesome thanks for the replies guys!! Will try the longer bolt for the next week and then get it to an autoshop to try and tread it. Thread it in by hand at first without the caliper or the post mount to determine if there are any thread left. As the other poster said, TREAD carefully and NO Vernon Koekemoer antics agian! The helicoil option would be the final and best solution as it would be a permamnent fix. I was lucky, my longer bolt worked and is still holding.
