What's the big deal? Just use any disc. I can't see why you should have the XTR one unless you are a label bunny.

 

BTW, there is no way that an stainless-alu-stainless sandwich disc cools faster than a plain stainless one. My guess is that the sandwich one is a bit lighter but who cares?

 

Spare a thought for the local agent too. It often doesn't get stock of the latest stuff untill all the other large markets have been served. Then, people go and buy the stuff from the larger markets and bring it in before the local agent even has stock. Then you expect him/it to have stock of the spares?

 

If you want to play at the bleeding edge of new products, then you have to bleed a bit more and bleat a bit less.
