divernick Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I don't have a bell, but I can whistle really loud - that get's the attention of napping pedestrians. Always carry 2 spare tubes and whatever tools you think you might need. Remember to hydrate! If you're on aMTB you can probably use a lot of dirt foot-paths instead of riding on the tar. makes the ride harder, but way more fun, and keeps you away from homicidal motorists.
