IRD cassette on race wheels and LX on training wheels. IRD weighs 45 grams less than XTR and costs the same as a XT. IRD, www.interlocracing.com, normally Kenda Karma,s, Maxxis Larsen Mimo's in the wet and a pair of Maxlite 310's for marathon racing.

Mine were 75 % sponsered but reccomended retail is, excluding the red nipples:

Rims: 1500 bucks, locally.

Spokes: 850 for 56, locally.

Hubs - Front: 1045

         - Rear: 1858 Both hubs through chain reaction cycles.

 

Thats R 5253.00 total and I built mine up for the hell of it.

DT Swiss's XR1450 and Mavic's Crossmax SLR's as well as many others all come in at around 9 grand with a weight of between 1450 and 1550 grams.

Sounds like mine, I have just turned 19. 3 ways to get money outa father.

 

1- Beg, probably won't work.

2- Find some compromising pics of him and his secetary.

3- Mow the neighbours lawn and house sit for for a month.
