KnobbyMech Posted November 1, 2011 Share I finally found the fault. It wasn't my chain afterall. Seems like the freebody pins did not fully engage and thus, under high torque disengaged. brussel Posted November 1, 2011 Share is this a crankset with NEW chainrings? I ask because at one stage I put a new cassette and chain on and for the first time ever I had horrendous chain skipping issues on the chainring...I put on a new ring and all was fine. FYI I am running an SRAM double on a 9-speed setup with no issues at all so that should not be a problem. I have a mate running a full 9speed setup with a 10 speed chain and no issues (dont ask why) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
