Next one is 2nd Friday in December (nobody will be around to ride on the last Friday of December), details above, get there!

It is awesome. Pace is relaxed, and we stick together through the whole ride. I didn't check the distance of the last ride, but it's probably about 20kmsLast ride had at least 50 riders. I didn't count

It's dark, a bunch of cyclists with lights flashing take up the whole road and cruise through the suburbs/city. It really was something to see. For me, and for the motorists and the pedestrians.The funniest thing - as we hit the Nelson Mandela bridge on the way out of town, a pedestrian shouts really loudly "think bike!!!". I'm not even sure what the purpose of the ride is, but that dude got it.Bottom line, whatever the purpose/cause/whatever - it's FUN Edited November 29, 2011 by skidd
