Which is the better bike Gt Karakoram 1.0 29er or Giant Talon 29er 0

I am a total newbie and looking at buying a 29er to start.

 

I have been looking at Gt Karakoram 1.0 29er or Giant Talon 29er 0.

They are both about R8000,00.

Both are good bikes .Giant gives a lifelong frame warranty on all their frames .Both have similar gear.Buy the lightist one that you like.i would also take the cheapist tubeless conversion option.Look at merida and momsen al329.Momsen come tubeless converted already.Just bought a giant xtc ,Can,t go wrong with giant momsen gt morewood merida.Good luck Edited October 27, 2011 by ben-johan

Thanks guys, decided to get the GT Karakoram 1.0 2011.

 

I chose it over the 2012 model cause the 2011 model has an air fork.

 

Cant wait to start riding now!
