rpm Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Hi there I am looking for slick 29er tires in Gauteng. To date I have not been able to find it in Centurion/Sandton. Any advice on where I can find slick tires for 29er MTB?

TiBones Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 (edited) Solomons in Woodmead have Continental Sports at about 300 and serfas at about 200. You do need to go a bit wider. The contis are 38 wide (as opposed to the average 23 wide for a normal road tyre), and the serfas are 2" wide (50.4mm) Edited November 1, 2011 by TiBones
