Cheap mtb for holiday house

Anyone in George, Wilderness or Sedgefield have an old mtb lying around that I can buy for no more than R1000?

It's for my in-laws' holiday house to use when we're there.

 

Large frame and working condition are the only requirements.

 

Please help as I am going there at the end of the month and I need to ride something!

You can buy this Large Merida for R1500. One time offer only though, as I am driving up to Plett tomorrow and could make a plan to hand over to someone. I know its more than R1000, but just taking a chance.

 

(2007 model, lots of mileage, frame has some careless transport damage and bb needs replacing)
