MTB Specific: What make of tyre

@Patches...I might also consider the barro mountain upfront next time. The only bad thing about them is getting them on or off the rim. I normally put an evening aside for the job, buy a cheap bottle of brandy and a liter coke, and hope for the best, demmit

yeah, my first attempt at putting them on, I thought I might have accidentally bought 24" tyres. Man those suckers are tight!

 

But I found a little trick to get them on easier. Once you have all of it on, except that stubborn last bit. Go arround the rim pinching the beads together into the centre of the rim profile. This will give that little bit of extra slack neede to pop on the last bit

I like your style. The only problem is that when you wake up in the morning you have to first find the wheels, and then find out if the wheels are fixed, and then the worst of all is that you have to sort out the mess that you have made all over the house.
