This morning a Hub fan drew my attention to an article on mountain biking in the latest edition Finweek. It's a short, positive piece about how the sport is booming with some interesting facts on the shift towards mountain biking.

Fantastic to have our sport showcased in such a prominent publication and great to hear some positivity.

The switch from road to mountain biking has come at a remarkable speed. Five years ago, bike shops were selling one mountain bike for every five road bikes, but this ratio has changed to an estimated one road bike to 15 mountain bikes, says Mike Bradley, Cycling South Africa’s director of mountain biking.
