Emmerentia Botanical Gardens - URGENT PETITION

So, out on slow cool ride up the Spruit to Emmerentia this evening we bump into a bunch of dog walkers creating a whole lot of fuss. City Parks went and dug holes across the park this morning and are about to erect a fence to divide the park in two, creating paid and unpaid access areas.

 

The dog walkers association have applied for an urgent court interdict and go to court on Tuesday.  Although the judge has heard the case, he wants to know just how many people will be affected by this fence.  There is a team  at Emmerentia trying to get as many signatures to the petition as possible before Tuesday.
