Hi Chaps, need some assistance I bought a Polar CS300 to log my training on vitality. I currentley use a garmin edge 500. Now on the instruction of the Polar it states that the watch has to be mounted. I thought I would still be able to wear the watch while riding. I don't want to take the Garmin off as I am happy with it. But I'm hoping that I don't have to mount the Polar on the bars, as I recon that would just look stupid having two computers on the bars.

Anybody wearing their's on their arm while cycling and does it work.

I have the CS300 for the vitality thing myself but prefer the flightdeck for actual riding info when on the bike. It does work a lot more consistent when mounted as it does not like to be too far from the speed sensor to get the cycling info. Useful and easy to use piece of kit! (Merry Christmas!)
