BMC Team Elite 03 and Ragley mmmBop stolen - Cape Town

Hey everyone,

Had my garage broken into last night in Pinelands, Cape Town. Had my BMC Team Elite 03 and Ragley mmmBop stolen.

The BMC is Silver/White with red and black decal. The Ragley is blue frame with Ragley in white. I don't have recent images of the bikes fully built but have attached frame images.

Ragley was running a Marzocchi Z5 fork and the BMC a Rockshox Tora U-Turn. Both bikes had Avid Juicy 3 disks. BMC had DT Swiss 430 XC rims with XT hubs.

Please keep a look out. Thanks

Hey, I went to school in Pinelands with a Jono Edwards..

Nah, couldn't be.. I mean what are the chances, right?

Anyway, going to be tough for anyone to keep those frames concealed, very distinguishable tubing.. and the spray jobs tend to be visible from at least 1 mile away.. keep 'em pealed.

Damn! Sorry to hear about that. Posted the link to this thread on the Bicycle Safety Facebook page. Hope you get them back.

Thank you so much. I also hope I get them back

Hey, I lived the majority of my life in Pinelands but only went to primary school here, then Rondebosch? You talking High School right?

The bikes were unique in every way so I really hope someone spots them out there.

Bizzarre, two people in the same suburb with the same name..

Yes it was high school.. I think I might even had been with him in the Green School (primary) but that was two lifetimes ago..

Have you check the obvious places yet? Shame, should give the guy a break but Neals Wheels has been synonymous with items sourced undercounter.. and Avron deals secondhand too - just suggestions..

Chances of finding these frames in Cash Converters would be slim, not sure they are into components..

Good luck

Interesting indeed... I was at the Red School :-)

Thanks for the suggestions. I will give Neals Wheels and Avron a call and ask. Agree with them unlikely showing up at Cash Converters.

Will keep the hub posted if I find them.
