berry & group,

I need higher intensity training than what you suggest.

Will be spending some time with the group ride and then peel off.

The best of both worlds. ^_^

I am with 'Dale on this one. Want to get a hard effort in on the route. The A bunch is going to be relentless!

Tiny K and 'Dale. No use in putting in massive efforts this Sunday. Too late for any last minute gains. You'll benefit more by starting the Argus well rested and recovered. But, it is your decision / race.

You're right (about the peaking process).

And 25 km/h over 110 kms is not the cruising speed of my machine at this time of the season, man.

It might benefit you more than going all out. Just saying.

I understand your point.

My cruise control is set at 30 km/h and just over... and it is not red zone effort / "all out".

Weather prediction for Sunday. Cool (22 deg) with chance of rain (20- 30%), with 20-25km/h WNW winds.
