I've looked at both and not sure which is better? I'm 100kg and ride XC, nothing serious. Light weight or "bomb" proof?

You realise the EC 90 is close to 20K

 

try the EA90XC 8 grand and the EA70XCT 5 grand both are full ust and the EA70 weigh 1824 g with valves claimed to be 1755 g and the EA90 claimed 1500g +- I weighed them at 1700g

 

I have the EA 70 also in the 100kg region and they are solid roll great and very quite a good buy at 5 grand you struggle to build a decent set of wheels for that plus full UST so easy to firt and no rim tape
