Aah, 139 is an awesome course. Plenty of jumps, but out does have some pedally parts too

Keep in mind though that a helmet cam view flattens stuff out. Whilst it's not a steep track, the jumps are a lot bigger than they seem on the vid.

I was chatting to Mr Morland lastnight and he mentioned something to that effect. Him and that track have a bit of a history. Hih-siding the hip into the 12m. And more recently, a severe tear on his tendon from the provincial practice day (I was about 20m behind him on the practice run where he went down hard and couldn't move for 20min due to the pain in his right leg.

 

But yeah, he was saying how he needs to stop letting that track own him by that weekend for the national

So is the National on that track for sure? And are those the dates for sure cos I somehow have is on the 21st and 22nd in my calendar.

Geez, I hope James is ok and will be fit and strong to race the event. Looking forward to riding against him again in the Vets class. He is such a talented rider and flippen fast.

initailly he was told 9 weeks no riding, but I think he's planning on getting on a bike a lot sooner than that

When was that posted on the CSA site?

 

I ask because the Voortrekker Monument course (Fort Klapperkop), was supposed to be the 1st Provincial DH here in Gauteng, but do to permission issues there wasn't an opportunity to get in there to fix up the track, so the race was moved to Helderkruin.

 

I'll find out for certain, but I think similar circumstances affect the National, and hence the word going around that it's at 139 (Waterkloof). If that CSA info is old there is a possibility that it has changed from Voortrekker Monument to 139.

 

But as I said, I will ask around

ok awesome!! thanks Patches!! I think its really bad that CSA cant just get their story straight!!! I cant find anything about the series on the website about the whole series!!! No dates, venues or anything!!! did you guys find some info??
