Get your sitbones measured and then test-ride both, if both are still applicable.

I was on SI saddle on my roadbike, but my mtb saddle was killing me. Went for measurement and found that I needed a 143 width saddle. tested the Phenom 143 and it is great for me. Now my road saddle, which I previously did many many many k's on, incl the DC without hassles gives me serious comfort issues, just having gotten used to the Phenom.

Thanks!

Can anybody recommend a decent supplier that can do a proper job of measuring and providing me with something I can try?

Any Specialized dealer should have an "ass-o-meter" - basically just a rubber pad where you sit on and measures the width of your sit-bones. Nothing high-tech. A slight conversion is done on that figure to see which width would suit you best. Also nothing mystical, it's available from the Spez site.

First place I walked in measured it and also had some test saddles - but that's down here in the shadow of the mountains.

In another thread I was giving the specialized shop so much grief... But i will give it to them that they gave me the perfect saddle.. 155mm Phenom - bought for my mtb and then went back 2 weeks later to buy the exact same saddle for my road bike.. Best saddle I have ever had. Quite hard tho...
