Saint Cranks with Mega Exo BB

Does anyone know if Saint Cranks will work with a Gravity Mega Exo BB the 4 bearing 1.

 

68-73bb on my Inspired Fourplay. i think it measures 68mm on the frame.

 

I was using a Saint BB with 2 spacers on the drive side and 1 on the left, fitted with a micron of play, but that BB has passed its expiry date so time for a new 1.

So ideally i would like to do away with the spacers, hoping this can be achieved due to the mega exo having wider cups

2 drive, 1 on on the non-drive side is the norm with most 68mm bb's.... From what I know and have read on other forums the MegaExo is not always 100% compatible with Shimano cranks. Some say because of diameter being different or even that the mega expo cranks are tapered....

 

I can suggest you try the Hope stainless steel BB's - they are the shizzle

Oh - maybe you just need to have the threads on you bb cleaned and chased to be sure.

I broke my saint bb so was hoping to find a stronger 1

also wanted the try get the cranks away from the frame a bit but i think ill just stick with the saint
