MTB Rides in PE?

Hey everyone, I was thinking of doing some MTB racing in and around PE, before I do, anyone know of MTB group rides in PE?

Think there is one that leaves every Tuesday at 6pm from dick king ave in kabega night ride 60km pretty flat I think

MTB group ride tonight 17 July 2012 @ 18:00 from Shell garage at Sunridge shopping centre. MTB ride tonight will be mainly on tar due to the floods, but hey it still beats spinning. Pace would be mainly "long slow distance" with the odd fast pull here and there. +-2.5 hours

Griep, of iets. Het laas Dinsdag oggend Brickmakers 12 keer gaan klim (wou 'n Brickies week gehad het - elke dag 12 doen), en die aand die Makro MTB bunch gedoen. Woensdag oggend opgestaan om te gaan train, aangetrek, en toe gevoel iets is nie reg in my keel nie. Next day, moertoe. Ek dink sy rug is nou gebreek darem, moet nou net die str0nt uitkry.

Hi There,

 

If you are on Facebook, join the Fat Tracks group. Outrides get organised from there mostly, and our website gets updated with that information.

 

On most Saturdays we have a Longmore Forest outride, 40-60km. Recently the weather and work commitments made it difficult for me to organise these rides.

 

This weekend will be difficult weather wise, and the one after that is the Tread Skills Clinic.

 

Keep an eye on the Facebook group and the website, I will organise something for the first weekend of August.

Choice of 2 MTB group night rides tonight starting at 18:00

 

Group 1 - From Dick King Ave, off Kabega rd +- 3 Hr (LSD pace group)

Group 2 - From Norm Hudlin to Van Stadens +-2.5 Hr (faster group)

 

Both groups follow gravel roads to Van Stadens rail bridge with connecting tar sections out and back, both groups will do +-60-65Km's

Please unsure your batteries are fully charged and you have effective rear flashers.
