Heart Rate monitor on Android Phone

I use a Zephyr HRM with my Android phone on Endomondo. It's compatible with Sports Tracker and Google MyTracks as well.

 

With this HRM as long as you have bluetooth it will work. Check out this site that shows what apps are compatible: http://www.zephyr-technology.com/consumer-hxm

 

Unfortunately I don't know of a local distributor.

If you want my honest opinion.......... I'd go for the Polar. The quality and pedigree is better than all other available Bluetooth HRM sensors.......... And they support the product locally........ I don't know why they don't bring it in, But they do support it locally, and they honour warranties.......... GO FIGURE

My dad got a nokia with a bluetooth HRM in the box. It is a polar and says nokia on it, but it works with my droid... Battery life isn't that great with the bluetooth though

Which Handset do you have? The ANT+ receiver is a deal maker.......... If I can get a ANT+ phone I'll have a backup computer.

i have a Samsung Galaxy witch doesnt, will have to get the normal bluetooth jobbie
