The Ghost Posted June 20, 2012 Share I over tightened the bolt thingie in my Ergon GR2 Standard grip, and snapped the head off I cant get it out using one of those drill in removers because it is too narrow, do you know where I can get just the bar end piece of the grip, or perhaps another way to get the screw out? Bike Mob Posted June 20, 2012 Share Can you drill any hole at all? Remember there is no tension on the bolt now so you should be able to just turn it with a sharp/pointy object and lot of patience.

V12man Posted June 20, 2012 Share Try a left hand drill bit with a drill that goes in reverse - if you are lucky it will turn out while you are drilling. Otherwise try tapping it around in a circle with a small chisel or screwdriver and a hammer to get it out - remember - lefty loosey, righty tighty And buy a good torque wrench - expensive, but worth every cent.
