GEEEEEEEEEEEEEzzzzzzz Louise WTF

Tried to put a new back wheel on today, just to feel what the difference would be, as I ride the same area on most occasions.

The tyre was given to me bye a freind and I did not think to check if there would be a size issue. Some thing was wrong, im covered in stans goooo, and the old tyre is back on the rim.

Time too help the noob :)

Went from a geax sanguaro to a kenda small block. The only difference I could pick up was this;

geax is 56-559

kenda is 59-559

Would this be the reason my wheel began to ooooozzz like a snail when he runs into a bit of salt, or do I suck at fitting

too easy

56-559 = 26"x2.2"

58-559 = 26"x2.3"

60-559 = 26"x2.35"

Rims too narrow perhaps?

Ok

So the kenda is to wide for the rims. May be I will try a different brand of tyre, I want more grip on corners, cause i keep on slowing down to much. And was hoping the wider tyre would help boost my confidence.

The ISO system uses two numbers;

the first is the width of the tire or rim in millimeters (The actual tire width will vary a bit depending on the width of the rim.

The rim width is the inner width measured between the flanges as shown in the diagram.)

The second ISO number is the diameter of the bead seat of the rim, in mm ("B.S.D.").
