  1. Tracy-lee Palframan Yesterday near Cape Town To all my friends, me and Robyn Satchel Menzies were mugged at gun point today while hiking up Slangkop Mountain in Kommetjie. We both had our cell phones stolen with our bags so we have both lost numbers and are only contactable by landline. Please be aware if you intend to go hiking and don't take your wallet with all your cards and ID in it like I did! 2 Shares=702465463&p[1]=10154359978480464&profile_id=702465463&share_source_type=unknown&__av=100001216163088"]Share 3 people like this. 4 of 55 View previous comments Tracy-lee Palframan Emma Eldridge, I too have lived overseas and I have been contemplating going to live in the States or Canada for a while now, this is just the push I needed to get me going. Until this happens to you, no one can judge my decision. This is the second time a gun has been pulled in my face.....no ******* more thanks and to top it all, our government is robbing us blind everyday....stuff this, I am out of here! 45 minutes ago Tracy-lee Palframan Emma Eldridge, the newspapers are trying to get hold of me so don't worry, this will be made very public 40 minutes ago · 1 Tracy-lee Palframan Larry Wayne Paul, yes, I might just have to do that as I am having very extreme emotional episodes. This is also the second time this has happened, but the first happened at my office and the gunman was aiming at all of us and not just me personally, this time was very personall.... 40 minutes ago Emma Eldridge I know how awful is is Tracy-lee Palframan Unfortunately we too have had armed home invasions and other various issues in our workplace, and in the car. So I joined BKM, went on a few courses and changed how I think about those that try again. It is em...See More
  2. Different colour plastic arrows sounds like a good idea. Did the 32 km route, but ride shows as 39.5 km on strava. Geuss some of us are so unfit we cant even see straight let alone think straight, after the firts 10km.
  3. Congrats on a really cool event, great route. Was hating those last couple of small, steep climbs towards the end. Cursing you under my breath, but once they were behind me made the end even sweater. Thanks

  5. Any one remember this one from a long time ago?
  6. Almost sure I can hear the riders heart beating at the very end of the clip as he stops. Really good clip
  7. I can throw in another R1000.00
  8. And you are the president of which cycling governing body???????
  9. I’m no cycling guru, in actual fact only really started messing around on a bike about 2 years ago. However I was very aware of Mr Armstrong and always thought he was an all time great. In actual fact I still do. I do to also appreciate the work that governing body's put into the sport they are involved in. But when these people go to such an extreme to strip an athlete of his achievements it makes me wonder. One word comes to mind bull***t. Were they not the authority governing the sport in the first place? They too should be stripped of their authority. I hate it when people point fingers like this. Are they not man enough to admit that the error was there’s more than his? Yes he was not supposed to take performance enhancing substances, and I feel sorry for the guys who were not and lost to him. But he was at the time a professional sports man; it was his job to win. You can bet your bottom dollar that he was forced to do so because the governing bodies were to busy hob knobbing about and living the good life while he was training his butt off. In actual fact I’ll bet they were having a good old time socializing with the who’s who in the cycling world, while he was doing his job professionally. And sacrificing a large portion of his life to promote their sport. So I hope for Mr Armstrong the authorities stop floating around playing GOD and start doing the jobs they are paid to do properly. And if the fools don’t know what I mean how’s about starting by putting the amount of effort and time into the sport that the athletes themselves do. And don’t bring the money up because I recon there were a good couple of them earning a lot more than the champ was earning in 1998. Just my 2 cents worth
  10. AAAAH classic. That would have spooked the living **** out of me. Gonna head back there and talk to the locals, but I aint going in that forest anywere near sunset unless there is a whole bunch of riders. If those wild horses had have come any were near me I would have been damaged for life. You guys were lucky you got to see what they were or your friends would have admitted the both of you to some form of medical institution, a while back.
