Woolf Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 We spent last weekend and week in Sondèla with the kids and had so much fun. We left on Friday morning only to find out yesterday that a veld fire on Saturday had destroyed almost all of the chalets with an elderly couple killed in the blaze. A sorry day for such an amazing place.

Woolf Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 I think the campsite is still fine as it seems the most damage was on the chalet side. 65 of the chalets destroyed apparently.
