Ballistic Bike Trading - Worth a visit!

Been scrounging around for a bike, thankfully my better half helped increase my budget and I was able to purchase a Ghost at a really good price from Ballistic Bike Trading today. Just a couple of hundred Rand more than the Scott Spark 60 I was looking at yesterday. They took the time to explain the bike characteristics etc and made the purchase a pleasurable experience..not a tooth pulling exercise . It was worth the 130km round trip, also got it at a really good price, almost R7k cheaper!

 

Conversely went to another LBS today to buy a bicycle related gift for a friend and the owner did not even have the courtesy to greet when I walked in the shop, even though I walked right past him and said hi. No wonder I dont really buy anything from them! And thats supposedly one of the better shops!
