Hillcrest/Assagay upper highway trails

Im pretty new to mountain biking and Im now hunting for trails in the upper highway area, Ive been cycling around a few trails in summerveld but starting to get bored of them, I love gibas blue route especially the gravity dice and the free ride section off the green route, just a bit of a mission to get down there as often as I'd like to. Does anyone know of some good routes in the area? I dont even know where to start, being new to the sport and not really having anyone to cycle with, I dont want to end up pissing off other people by crossing into their land or going the wrong way on a trail etc etc. already been shot at twice by grumpy farmers on my motorbike, (I dont think I'll be able to get away quick enough on my MTB.... YET hahahaha)

Any help would be great.
