So if the 43km & 30km feel a bit too far and the 5km is not challenging enough, this distance is for you! If you are still struggling to decide which distance to enter, here is some more information about the various routes: The 5km is suitable for children and loops around the Overgaauw Estate grounds. This route is easy and very safe and offers interesting sights on the farm. The 16,5km begins with a 4km climb from the starting point to the top of the Bottelary Hills and then splits away from the 2 longer routes. From there it's all flat roads and downhill along vineyard pathways for an enjoyable and easy ride. The 30km offers the rider a moderate challenge of renosterveld jeeptracks and farm roads, rewarded by lovely scenery and stunning views. Besides the challenging 2km climb and two singletrack sections of 650m and 1.5km, the route is not difficult and will suit most experienced riders. The 43km is an extended version of the 30km route which covers renosterveld jeeptracks and farm roads, five singletrack sections of 650m, 1.5km, 900m, 1.9km and another 1.5km, and a challenging 2km climb. This is the most difficult route and is only recommended for accomplished and fit riders. If you haven't entered yet, click below to enter now! HDW Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Unfortunately on the same day as the Durbanville High School fun ride, which now has a MTB leg as well, if I'm not mistaken. This is gonna make it difficult for these okes... Hope you draw plenty people though!

Good luck with this Hellwrap, great idea and I'll join in the fun next year! Does it utilise your Bottelary Hills tracks?
