Campagnolo ExaDrive FreeHub Modernisation

Hey Hubbers,

 

I need some help please, I have a set of Campagnolo Vento's (the Silver 50mm Deep Section ones) which are 8 Speed with the old ExaDrive Freehub body. I am wanting to swop the freehub body for a modern 10 Speed one, is this possible? Will the modern freehub work on the ExaDrive specific hub?

I'm about 99% sure that your current freebody should work.

The spacing is done by the spacers in the cassette and not by the freebody.

 

If you have a 10spd cassette try it out - obviously don't force the lock nut.

Thank you so you reckon I can just put a 10 Speed Cassette on without having to change the FreeHub?
