Super_mil Posted November 15, 2012 Share wonder if someone with some electrical expertise can help me. I have a Garmin Forerunner 305. We have done many happy km's together, on foot & bikes. It unfortunately fell off my bike at some point and split in two. I stuck it back together & all was well... or so I thought. Although the unit would charge I kept getting a "You device has malfunctioned" message when I tried to connect with the PC. Eventually I split the unit in two again to take another look and it would seem that one of the copper electrical connectors snapped off during the fall (I assume).
