Bugger the bit about blue lights, DA outlawed blue light brigades long time ago, it will now be passed into law that you need to be more than 1.5m away from cyclists. I just hope the DA follows this up with one hell of a campaign to let all motorists know its the law with examples of repercussions for not following the 1.5m law.

Time for the rest of ZA to follow up with this. Did the Ian kernick 200km ride yesterday and the total disregard motorists have for cyclists is totally shocking!
