Momsen kids JR 100?

Hi Guys

 

Looking at buying my 8 year old daughter the Momsen Jr 100. She is currently riding a 26 inch schwinn meca XS ladies bike with a 15 inch frame and handles the bike ok for her age, she rides most of the single track at Tokai. My problem with the bike is the weight it is heavy.

 

Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

Hi there

My son is a bit younger, we recently moved him onto a Momsen JSL40 (24" bike) when he was not yet 8. It is very light (9kgs) and he is absolutely loving it. The build qlt and geometry on the bike is very good.

Neighbor bought one for his kid and his loving it. Quality of kid and build all looks way above average. So much so that the Dad went and bought himself a Momsen!
