Was looking for perfect sports watch for a while now.

Think i found my perfect fit with the garmin fenix.

I wanted a watch for MTB, running, walking, hiking , squash and other sports i might start such a kayaking.

 

See it won the nat geo gaget of the year.

Great looking watch, which is at the top of my wish list too. See the DC Rainmaker review for a critical appreciation.

 

My concerns are:

1) Size - a personal thing, but its very big for my wrist.

2) Limited waterproofing - As I understand it, it's waterproof for immersion only (ipx 7) not proper swimming

3) Limited cycling functionality

New firmware 3.0 sorted nr3. Updates this morning.
