Last cyclist riding sufferfest

Anyone perhaps interested in riding the bigger brother of this route?? It will include a few more climbs... Ooops, sorry about that.

 

Main differences are an extra start bit going to Queens circle and then up to Oceanview Dr before heading along High Level back towards town. Going over Constantia Nek to do Price Dr and coming back over the Nek. Doing the long side of Ou Kaapse to the summit and back down before heading to Black Hill and doing the Mount Rhodes loop going up Suikerbossie...

 

Odo says 175 clicks. Ascent says 2900m on mapmyride but this is out by more than a couple of hundred metres it seems.. Aptly I've called the route: 'Stairway to Heaven'.

 

Feeling tempted to try it this Saturday. (Turn January into Survival Saturday with another planned for the 19th then??...)
