Smoothie maker

I use two things to make smoothies.... a 20yo stick blender (Braun) that was my grandmother's, (a replacement for that is around 2k) and a Kenwood blender/food processor that I picked up on special at Makro for R999.

Many options but looks like 800W motor at least to get it smooth?

Do yourself a favour and check this blender out. It's awesome. Robust, simple and easy to clean. The parts are all stainless steel/glass and it comes with a grider as well. 1200 Watt motor.

 

Best smoothies/crushed ice/soups etc yet.

Thanks guys, bought the Breville Kinetix, first banana smoothie done and dusted :-)

Looks good , just without the timer on the omniblend , where/what price in SA?

I have a vitamix 5200 . It is large in size and can easily crush the ice. Reviews about this model shows it's high class.
