Smoothie maker

I use two things to make smoothies.... a 20yo stick blender (Braun) that was my grandmother's, (a replacement for that is around 2k) and a Kenwood blender/food processor that I picked up on special at Makro for R999.

I've had many blenders in my life.

By far the best is my current MAGIMIX ( http://www.magimix.com/index.php?rid=3772&lg=100 )

Do yourself a favour and check this blender out. It's awesome. Robust, simple and easy to clean. The parts are all stainless steel/glass and it comes with a grider as well. 1200 Watt motor.

Best smoothies/crushed ice/soups etc yet.
