Fitness and skill level?

Aim for the rides? Social or more training focussed?

I'd like to think fairly skilled and fit. Ride every weekend - distances vary between 55k and 80k, depending on how I feel. I mostly pedal on my own but need that extra shove to reach the next level. So I guess more training focused. I need to add I am more on the mature side but can hold my own.

I know that Club100 leave from Paulshof Mug&Bean every most Sunday at 06:00 for rides of about 60km at a pace of about 16-18km .... maybe join them.

What SIR M was trying to ask... When you see a jump or a drop or a gnarly rock garden. Do you:

a. skirt the obstacle?

b. ride up to it, look it over and tell yourself you will conquer that someday?

c. ride it a number of times with a big smile?

:D

a. skirt the obstacle and live the rest of your life in shame?

b. ride up to it, look it over and tell yourself you will conquer that someday and live in shame until that day?

c. ride it a number of times with a big smile?
