  1. I have a suspicion that Grass Muncher is a duplicate account of someone here that was purely created to causes drama. I picked up a little glitch where he/she/it replied to a thread in such a random fashion that it could only point to being logged in on the wrong account. At least I troll with my primary account
  2. That will work but over time you will have water and dirt gunk up that part where the two pieces of housing come together causing the cable to bind up.
  3. This was my exact same experience about 6 months ago. Money in hand and I walked away and built my following. I will do it again tomorrow if I had to. In fact, I want to. The Following V3 is everything i could ever need in a bike.
  4. Definitely würth it.
  5. So just a whole lot of affiliate link spam disguised as an article to bikes that are sold on Amazon?
  6. Same same. Many sales concluded but the second you advertise a camera or laptop in the general marketplace the game begins. Between the low ball offers and oil rig workers it gets a tad tiring. I sold a lens on a closed group within minutes yesterday. Effortless but again that requires me to join groups and and and ...
  7. Isn’t a score of 80% regarded as a distinction or A? Always aim high man!
  8. I hit the trainer at 17:00. 16:00 I’ll have a coffee, two bananas and a tablespoon of peanut butter. Holds me perfectly for the ride and until dinner at 19:30. Also helps to deal with consuming a smaller amount of food for dinner. The other 99% is swinging a leg over the bike and getting ready to suffer hard.
  9. I miss that side. I have a ton of bags, camera gear, electronics etc to move and i really don’t feel like scamtree or facerape marketplace.
  10. From one DR to another Dr, the hub is a wealth of knowledge where 20% of all the members answer 80% of all the questions. Ask anything and you will get an honest answer.
  11. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dropper-seat-posts/453151/satori-sorata-pro vs https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dropper-seat-posts/453157/satori-sorata-pro zacdek12 vs #Scott4win Who's battered post will win!
  12. Try and do your test before your alarm goes off.
  13. Scott is a great brand. You're going to have a great time. Congrats
  14. Exactly who we use. I did find though that once it gets cold and you reheat it gets a weird texture. Not pleasant cold either.
  15. It is still in the bottle so it must be doing a good job.
  16. I'm sure we can peddle the topic of proper chain line and tension a while longer.
  17. Ooof. Could have just undone the hoses at the lever side... Whyyyyyyyyy!
  18. <comic looking font>This thread has really gone backwards</comic looking font> *I can't get myself so far as to use comic sans
  19. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/pumps/7923/ryder-artistic-handpumps I'm not saying she's a dealer.... but who buys 4 pumps for 1 bike? The other adverts are also making me scratch my head. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/lubricants-and-cleaners/452994/puncture-free-sealant 25x bottles of sealant for 1 bike? https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/tubes/384439/kenda-29er 10x tubes
  20. Make sure to ride it and also ride a smaller frame in that same bike. At the end of the day the salesman gets his commission and you get a bike. Unlike his commission you have this bike for a very long time and it needs to fit like a glove.
  21. I'm normally 5+/- from the recommended cadence. The Shovel also scares me haha. Will give it a shot and see. I need to see why my ceiling is so low. On the trail I vary cadence a LOT while I ride. Sprints, spins, power climbs etc.
  22. I'll track tonight using the Tickr with Kickr feeding into strava via sufferfest And Apple Watch recording an indoor ride into strava See how it compares. All previous tests showed the Apple watch to be very close to the Tickr when working out.
  23. I think I need to get that done indeed. I use the Wahoo Tickr together with the IDT and then Apple Watch with Strava on the trail. I feel like I'm mostly at idle when riding but my legs don't agree.
  24. My understanding as well. I don't feel fatigued really and I was able to hit a hard sufferfest session last night without hassle. Max HR was 129bpm and avg was 110bpm. It takes a massive effort for me to hit above 150bpm though. In theory I should see at least 170bpm during a hard effort
