Trek Cobia vs Merida TFS 900

I am currently riding a Merida 26er and want to upgrade to a 29er. I would really like to get a Merida but they are rather hard to come by. So I have looked at a Trek Cobia. Does anyone have any comments good or bad to say about the Cobia? Also, how does this compare to the Merida TFS 900?

I'm not very familiar with the components on the Trek Cobia! It looks like a decent bike although I would compare it to a TFS 500. The TFS 900 seems to be a bit better IMO.

 

Merida's are actually all over the place, just look a bit further.
