The Cipla Cancer Buddies Walk of Hope is a family fun day where walkers, runners and mountain bikers will take part to raise awareness of the fact that cancer is curable and that there is HOPE!

 

The event coincides with the Sauvignon Blanc Wine festival in Durbanville and will attract cancer survivors, families and friends of everyone that has been touched by cancer.

 

The event serves as a fundraiser for PLWC (People Living with Cancer) in order to appoint qualified oncologists and social workers to man their 24 hour toll-free number.

 

 

The VIVA / Ek Leef! event will take place at D'Aria Wine Estate on the 5^th October

 

TRAIL RUNS / WALKS

4 km - 11:30 Start D'Aria, Altydgedacht through the Poplar Forest and back to D'Aria

15 km - 11:00 Start D'Aria, Altydgedacht, Durbanville Protea Hotel, through Majik Forest back to D'Aria

 

MOUNTAINBIKE ROUTES

15km - 11:30 Start D'Aria, Bloemendal, Maastricht, Durbanville Hills and back to D'Aria

35 km - 11:00 Start D'Aria, De Grendel, Durbanville Hills, Bloemendal, Altydgedact and back to D'Aria

 

Included in all online entries: Cipla goody bag with A Viva / Ek Leef T-shirt and bracelet (your entry ticket to all the farms en route and the concert at D'Aria), Water/Wine tasting tables en route, a bottle of D'Aria wine for finishers, live entertainment at D'Aria, lucky draw prizes, food and wine sales as well as entertainment for kids.

 

 

Late entries on the day will be R20 extra. No goody bags for on the day entrants. Only T-shirts and an event bracelet.
