Zero setback to 12mm setback seat post

Will this 12mm make a difference in my riding or affect my position on the bike?

I currently have a seat post with zero setback

I changed to a setback seatpost because i needed to move the seat further back. So if you can still position your seat properly then i would say no it won't. As long as you still got 12mm on the seat rails to move your seat forward, if you don't then you got a problem.
