rudi-h Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 i used to ride in emmarentia / delta park almost weekly, but stayed away from melville koppies due to rumours of bike jackings etc. is melville koppies safe for riding these days and if so, is it easy to find your way around there? I take it that the entrance is from the dip where judges tee's into beyers naude. Can you ride a loop in there or is it more of a "there and back" type of place?
RockCoach Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Riding in the Koppies is still a contentious issue with some of the local environmental groups. There are a few of us who do ride it but not big groups or alone. You kinda have to know where to go on your way back from Alberts to find the right trail. Stay in touch and I may give a guided tour one day.
