Would it be rude to sit out the ceremony and seek out a pub instead?

Did you know that I may have an irrational fear of wedding? And churches?

Or maybe it's a rational love of beer?

Is not wanting to commit to like more than four or five hours at a time a commitment phobia?

If the reception is left off the invite, does that not mean that you are only invited to the ceremony?

Has that ever happened? Now that's an idea... have a wedding without the reception?

Think the reception with no ceremony could be a whole lot more fun though?

Isn't that a bit rude? I mean, doesn't one at least deserve a drink after having to sit through another divorce statistic waiting to happen?

... and SOMETIMES being a divorce statistic is not from lack of trying .. there are certain things that warrant a divorce. PERIOD. Ok.. Next round on me.

Does it not depend on the budget of the people getting married? Are you important enough to get an invite to the ceremony at least? Maybe they cannot afford to have eveyone at the reception? Am I getting my point across? :D

It is possible, but would you agree that the happy couples are in the minority?
