Bobbo_SA Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 I use anything from the built in mic on my laptop, iPhone headset (using the earbud as the mic) or my USB headset. The trick is to check under the recoding properties of your soundcard and ensure the mic is active (only 1) and that its levels are correctly adjusted, then it woks 100% every time
New Landy new life Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) I never had any luck with my Windows 7 PC (even had a Polar Rep with me to try setting it up in person) so I tried at home on my very old Windows XP machine with a cheap little microphone plugged in the socket and the recording volume very low and it works every time now. Only problem is when the XP eventually dies I will have to throw thes piece of crap CS300 away and Go Garmin Edited July 15, 2013 by CapeLandy
